Wing Shooting Instruction

Fortunately for locals and visitors alike we are blessed with one of the finest clays shooting facilities in the nation.  Ozark Shooters is the Ozarks premier shooting facility and is located just a few miles north of Branson.  Hosting an array of shooting events form Februarys Sweetheart Shoot to the Missouri State Championship and everything in between, Ozark Shooters has it all.

Skeet, trap and sporting clays round out the assortment of traditional games as well as wobble trap and their new world class 5 stand!  Pistol and rifle shooting ranges are available as well.

Not sure you’re ready to try it on your own or want to get brushed up a bit for the fall season.  Ken Minsky’s Loch Leven can help.  Ken started shotgun shooting about the same time he first picked up the fly rod and has become extremely proficient at both.  A knowledgeable and patient instructor he is certified as a Level 1 Shooting Instructor with the National Sporting Clays Association.

Let Ken introduce you, your loved one or your child to the excitement of smoking some clays with Ozark Shooters. Don’t have a gun or can’t bring your own, not to worry, Ken and the club have an assortment of fine guns available.  Call Ken Minsky’s Loch Leven and make arrangements for your next Cast and Blast experience today!

Some sports or hobbies seem to go hand in hand with other sports or hobbies. Marketing studies have shown that down hill skiers are very much inclined to also take up the sport of SCUBA diving.  Antiquers are prone to activities such as quilting or collecting.  Adrenaline junkies may choose ski diving and auto racing.  For the fly fisherman the other sports of choice are golf and wing shooting.

Many fly fishermen have already been exposed to the thrill the shooting sports have to offer.  Others would like to participate but have not yet had the opportunity to give it a try.  Still others assume that it’s just too hard, there’s no place to do it and would take a lifetime to learn.

The truth be known there are shooting facilities located all over the country and more and more popping up all the time.  Many shooters/fisherman are planning their vacations and free time around what is commonly called a “Cast and Blast” where they can take in a day or two on the water as well as some time polishing up their clays game.
